CopyAndPaste is designed to work without an account. Most copy and generator actions happen directly in your browser.
Last updated: June 22, 2026
Short version
You can use the public copy tools without creating an account. Generator input is processed in your browser and is not stored by the service unless you explicitly submit it through a form.
What stays in your browser
- Recent copied items saved by the local Recent feature.
- Favorites saved with the Save action.
- Text typed into client-side generators such as Fancy Text, Bio Generator, and Username Generator.
- Temporary UI state such as selected chips, filters, and generated results.
What can be sent to CopyAndPaste
- Content you submit through the Submit page for moderation.
- Reports you send through Report or Abuse flows.
- Contact messages you send through the Contact page.
- Operational request data needed to serve pages and APIs, such as route, status code, cache status, and error category.
Analytics and logs
Analytics should be limited to aggregated product events such as copy_success, search_submit, save_favorite, submit_combo, and report_content. Full generator input, private notes, raw personal content, and raw IP addresses should not be sent to analytics.
Moderation data
Submitted content and abuse reports may be stored so moderators can review spam, unsafe content, broken items, duplicates, and content quality issues. User-generated content is not intended to publish immediately without review.
Your choices
- Use Clear local data on Favorites or Recent to remove local browser data.
- Do not submit private information, passwords, API keys, or secrets through public forms.
- Use Report Content for moderation issues and Contact for product or privacy questions.
